I photographed this beautiful bridge in the early morning, before the park was open for tourists.

The Royal Gorge Bridge near Canyon City, Colorado is the world's highest suspension bridge, 1260 feet long and  rises 1178 feet above the Arkansas river.  You can view the river below between the bridge planks as you walk across.  Those planks make quite a noise when driving across the bridge.
